Project "Magnolia" is an interior project of a one bedroom apartment near the rowing canal of the city of Plovdiv. It was created for a young girl whose desire was to achieve maximum functionality through the prism of minimalist design. In order to accomplish this we redesigned the living space by removing the wall between it and the entrance hall. This gives a feeling of much greater depth and spaciousness. We chose high-quality materials and fabrics mainly in light and soft shades. The micro-cement flooring, for example, not only unifies the newly created space without having a dense grid, but is also an extremely strong and easy-to-maintain material. Other materials such as marble, granite and 3D plaster panels contribute to creating a luxurious feel. They are mainly in light tones with the exception of the granite plot in the kitchen which creates contrast. Almost all furniture in the living room are in grey and white colors, with the exception of one or two of them, in order to create some focal points. Bedroom and bathroom follow the minimalist line and color scheme of the living room to build a complete and harmonious design of the entire apartment. In the bedroom, we can note the led strip, which changes different plains and gives additional richness to the interior image. Some furniture design solutions are also an important element for the aim of functionality - a built-in ironing board in the bedroom wardrobe, a dressing table with hidden niches for cosmetics, a built-in laundry basket and a washing machine in the wardrobe next to the entrance. Our design combines many different materials and interior elements in a clean minimalist picture.
